Beaches Garden Therapy

WordPress Website Development | Garden Maintenance | Northern Beaches, Sydney, NSW

A simple website concept for a garden maintenance business. The focus is on helping homeowners see what the business does, check whether their suburb is covered, and request a quote without having to dig for information.

Business background

Garden maintenance businesses don’t need a complicated website to get their message across. They need to show the work they do, the areas they cover, and how customers can get in touch.

That’s what this concept is built around.

The Customer

A homeowner looking for someone to mow the lawn, tidy the garden or handle regular maintenance. They want to know three things:

  • Do you offer the service I need?

  • Do you work in my area?

  • How do I get a quote?

The website puts those answers front and centre.

The Approach

Rather than adding pages for the sake of it, I planned a straightforward page around the information a potential customer needs before making contact.

Website and SEO strategy

Build a single, well-structured page that answers the three questions customers ask first : what services are offered, which suburbs are covered, and how to request a quote. Keep the journey short rather than adding pages that would never be read.

Design decisions and reasoning

Service areas grouped by region

Suburbs were grouped into recognisable regions rather than one long comma-separated list, so the area information is scannable instead of a wall of names.

A quote button beside the phone number

On mobile the primary call to action sits next to the click-to-call number, so both routes to an enquiry are one tap away.

Pricing framed as starting bands

Simple starting prices were introduced for the most common jobs, which reduces vague enquiries and sets expectations early.

Key pages and features

Home and services

A single scrolling page with clear service sections for mowing, edging and green waste removal.

Service area block

Grouped suburbs with a short confirmation of how far the business travels.

Quote request

A four-field form for name, contact, suburb and a one-line description of the job.

My role

Verified results

This is a self-initiated concept design, not a live client project, so there are no performance figures to report. The concept is shown to demonstrate the structure and decisions a real build for this kind of business would follow.

Lessons and next steps

For single-service operators, one properly structured page often communicates more than a sprawling five-page site. The discipline is deciding what to leave out.

A real project would add the owner’s own before-and-after photos and genuine customer reviews once available, rather than relying on placeholder content.
